Brilliant Labs glasses

Brilliant Labs builds open-source AI glasses and publishes design files and code on GitHub, which sets it apart from most of the category. Its current model is Halo: a small color micro-OLED display, two bone-conduction speakers, a frame of about 40 grams and display optics that adjust between +2 and -6 diopters. The assistant is Noa, pitched as a private AI agent with long-term memory of what you see and hear. Halo's optical sensor is for AI inference only; Road to VR reports that it doesn't give the wearer photos or video, so treat it as a memory and conversation aid, not camera glasses. Noa has a free Basic tier and a paid Plus tier. The earlier Frame no longer appears in the Brilliant Labs store, though we found no official discontinuation notice. Choose Halo if you want hackable hardware and an AI that remembers; choose a camera pair from another maker if you want to take pictures.
