Samsung and Google (Android XR) glasses

Android XR is Google's platform for headsets and glasses, built with Samsung and running Gemini. Only one device is on sale: Galaxy XR, a mixed-reality headset sold in the US, UK and South Korea. The glasses are still announcements. Samsung's audio glasses, with a camera, speakers and Gemini but no display, come in Gentle Monster and Warby Parker frames; Google says this fall in select markets, and the Korea Herald reports November 2026. Android XR display glasses have no date, and press reports point to 2027. Kering Eyewear is a named partner with Gucci-branded glasses reported for 2027 and nothing shown. XREAL AURA runs Android XR on a tethered compute puck and is planned for fall 2026. None of the glasses has a final price. To choose, decide first between a headset you can buy now and glasses you will have to wait for. Our guide to what Android XR is explains the categories.
