Halliday G2
Halliday G2 is a pair of smart glasses with an in-lens display from Halliday. It starts at $599 in the United States (hardware price per press; AI plans from free to $99/month (12-month Basic included)). Halliday G2 went on sale recently.
Halliday G2 is a pair of display glasses built for meetings and conversations, and it deliberately has no camera. Two micro-LED engines put text in both eyes, rated at 1,600 nits peak with a 25.2-degree field of view, in a 49-gram frame rated IP54. Halliday's AI, which it calls Flow, follows meetings and conversations to give live captions, translation across 45-plus languages, quick summaries and post-meeting notes with action items. Control is a 73 mm touch bar along the right temple. The camera-free design is the selling point for offices and meeting rooms, where a lens on someone's face makes colleagues uneasy. The cost to understand before buying is the AI plan, which is metered in monthly credits.
Good fit
Professionals who spend much of the day in meetings or cross-language calls and want captions and notes in view, in places where camera glasses would be unwelcome.
Look elsewhere if
Skip it if you want photos or an assistant that sees what you see. The Rokid Glasses pair a similar text display with a 12MP camera.

Limitations to know before you buy
- No camera, so no photos, no video and no questions about what is in front of you.
- Meeting features are metered by plan, from a free Starter tier up to Max at $99 a month. The Gadgeteer reports the free tier caps recording at 120 minutes.
- Prescription orders take longer: Halliday says Rx lenses typically ship 4 to 6 weeks after ordering, within -9.00 to +2.00 SPH.
- A 25.2-degree field of view suits lines of text, not large graphics.
- The hardware price comes from press coverage; Halliday's site showed a discount code rather than a list price when this data was gathered.
- Halliday's site doesn't list frame colors or sizes, so check fit details before ordering lenses.
