VITURE The Beast

VITURE The Beast is a pair of display glasses (a wearable screen) from VITURE. It starts at $549 in the United States. VITURE sells or supports it in United States. VITURE The Beast went on sale recently.

VITURE The Beast is a wired display in a glasses frame. Plug it into a USB-C device and it shows a virtual screen VITURE puts at 174 inches, in 1200p at 120Hz. Its 58-degree field of view is the widest in VITURE's lineup, and brightness is rated up to 1,250 nits. Hardware 3DoF tracking, which VITURE calls VisionPair, can hold the screen in place, while the lenses dim across 9 electrochromic levels and turn transparent automatically when you look away. It is for watching and playing: there is no camera and no assistant. The odd detail is correction. Unlike the Luma models, The Beast has no built-in myopia adjustment, so nearsighted buyers depend on the included prescription lens frame.

Good fit

Gamers and travelers with a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, recent iPhone or USB-C laptop who want the biggest wired screen VITURE sells, held steady in space.

Look elsewhere if

Skip it if you are nearsighted and don't want to order lenses for the insert, since the VITURE Luma corrects up to -6.0D on its own. For a cross-brand view, see The Beast vs XREAL One Pro.

Questions people ask

What comes in the box with VITURE The Beast?

VITURE lists the glasses, a prescription lens frame, four swappable nose pads, a 1.2 m USB-C to USB-C cable, a case, a cloth and printed guides. Docks and adapters for HDMI consoles are separate.

Does The Beast keep the screen still when I turn my head?

Yes. Its built-in 3DoF hardware anchors the screen as your head rotates, and VITURE's guide describes the result as having no drift. 3DoF tracks rotation only, so the screen won't stay put if you walk across a room.

What is the Phantom Beast?

A limited edition of The Beast that VITURE lists at $599. The core display specs are the same family.

Does The Beast need the SpaceWalker app?

Not for basic screen placement. VITURE says VisionPair handles pin, move, ultra wide, side view and resize without apps or calibration. SpaceWalker adds multi-screen setups and 3D conversion on supported platforms.

How much does VITURE The Beast cost?
