VITURE Luma Ultra with prescription lenses
VITURE offers prescription lenses for VITURE Luma Ultra but has not published a range.[1]
Ultra is the top Luma model, and for prescription wearers it works like Luma Pro: built-in myopia adjustment, with the same conflict in VITURE's figures. The Ultra product page lists up to -4.0D. VITURE's buying guide, comparing the range, says -6.0D. If you are nearsighted within -4.0D, you can buy without thinking about lenses. Between -4.0D and -6.0D, get an answer from VITURE first. Anyone with notable astigmatism or a plus prescription has two lens routes: the Luma prescription lens frame with lenses, a $79 add-on on the Ultra page, or The Beast, which ships with a lens frame and no dials.
How to order
- Check your sphere against the product page limit of -4.0D.
- Contact VITURE if your myopia falls between the two published figures.
- Set the myopia adjustment per eye with the glasses on.
- If your prescription has astigmatism, compare The Beast, which ships with a lens frame instead of dials.
- If you add the Luma lens frame with lenses, have your full prescription and pupil distance ready for the custom lens order.
Watch out for
- Conflicting maximums: -4.0D on the product page, -6.0D in the buying guide.
- No correction for astigmatism or farsightedness is claimed.
- The base Luma lists more built-in range on its product page, -6.0D.
Questions people ask
Is VITURE Luma Ultra good for nearsighted users?
Yes for moderate myopia. The product page lists built-in adjustment up to -4.0D; a VITURE guide says -6.0D.
What about astigmatism with Luma Ultra?
VITURE describes the adjustment as myopia only. For astigmatism, a model with a lens frame is the better route.
Can I return Luma Ultra if the adjustment isn't enough?
VITURE's product page advertises free 30-day returns on the glasses. Check focus early in that window, and read VITURE's full return policy before adding a made-to-order lens frame.
