Ray-Ban Meta Audio with prescription lenses
Meta offers prescription lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Audio but has not published a range.[1]
Ray-Ban Meta Audio is Meta's first pair with no camera, announced in September 2026 for shipping from 13 October in the US. Meta says it is "compatible with a wide range of optical prescriptions" but has not put a number on it. Until a range appears on Meta's help center, treat any figure you see as unconfirmed. Without a camera, Audio suits people who want calls, music and the assistant in their everyday glasses without recording anyone. For a prescription buyer who needs a confirmed range today, Gen 3 or Optics are the documented options.
How to order
- Note your total power (sphere plus cylinder) so you can compare once Meta publishes a range.
- Check Meta's help center prescription article for an Audio entry before ordering.
- Order through Ray-Ban or a certified optical retailer once Rx ordering is listed.
Watch out for
- Announced, not shipping: Rx ordering details may change before or after launch.
- Meta's broad wording is not a range. Don't assume the -12.00 to +6.00 figure for other Ray-Ban Meta frames applies.
- A Meta Store UK page exists, but UK sale is not yet confirmed as shipping.
- Where you buy sets the return route. Ray-Ban takes returns only on ray-ban.com orders; an Audio pair from an authorized retailer goes back to that retailer.
Questions people ask
What prescription range does Ray-Ban Meta Audio support?
Meta hasn't published one. Its announcement says only that the glasses are compatible with a wide range of optical prescriptions.
Does Ray-Ban Meta Audio have a camera?
No. It is Meta's first audio-only pair, so camera features such as photo capture and look-and-ask don't apply.
What should I bring to an optician for Ray-Ban Meta Audio?
A current prescription with sphere, cylinder, axis and pupil distance, plus the add value if you wear progressives. Until Meta publishes an Audio range, the optician is the one who confirms your lenses can be made.
