Ray-Ban Meta Audio

Ray-Ban Meta Audio is a pair of audio smart glasses from Meta with Ray-Ban. It starts at $349 in the United States (starting price; pre-order, ships 13 Oct 2026). Ray-Ban Meta Audio has been announced (23 September 2026) but is not on sale yet.

Ray-Ban Meta Audio is Meta's first AI glasses with no camera at all. You still get open-ear speakers, calls, messages, music and the Meta AI voice assistant, but nothing that needs to see. Dropping the camera brings the weight to 43 g and the quoted battery to 12 hours on a charge, the longest in the Ray-Ban Meta range. Frames are Clubmaster and Burbank. Meta has announced it with US shipping on 13 October 2026. The obvious audience is people who want the assistant and audio without pointing a camera at anyone: offices, schools, gyms and venues where cameras make people uneasy. For more no-camera choices, see smart glasses without a camera.

Good fit

People who want hands-free calls, music and voice Meta AI in a light frame, and who work or spend time where camera glasses are unwelcome.

Look elsewhere if

Skip it if you want photos, video or answers about what you are looking at; Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 keeps the camera.

Questions people ask

Can Ray-Ban Meta Audio take photos?

No. It has no camera, so photo, video and every camera-based Meta AI feature are absent. It handles audio, calls, messages and voice questions.

Why choose Ray-Ban Meta Audio over a camera model?

Weight and battery. Meta quotes 43 g and up to 12 hours per charge, and a frame with no camera avoids the recording questions that camera glasses raise in shared spaces.

Does Ray-Ban Meta Audio support Dolby Atmos?

TechRadar reports Dolby Atmos audio. Meta's own announcement does not list it for this model, so treat it as press-reported for now.

How much does Ray-Ban Meta Audio cost?

$349 in the United States, £319 in the United Kingdom, A$529 in Australia, per Meta's list prices.

Can I get Ray-Ban Meta Audio with prescription lenses?

Yes. Meta: 'compatible with a wide range of optical prescriptions'; range not published.

Does Ray-Ban Meta Audio work with iPhone and Android?

It pairs through the Meta AI app. iPhone needs iOS 17.2 or later; Android needs Android 10 or later.
