XREAL Air 2 Pro with prescription lenses
XREAL offers prescription lenses for XREAL Air 2 Pro but has not published a range.[1]
Air 2 Pro is an older XREAL generation, and it uses Air-series inserts supplied through partners rather than the One family's lens frame. XREAL doesn't publish a range for them. The practical point for anyone upgrading: Air inserts are not interchangeable with One series lenses, so moving to a newer pair means a new lens order. Stock of Air 2 Pro on XREAL's US store has been listed inconsistently, so check availability. If you already own Air 2 Pro, a partner insert remains the way to add a prescription. If you're buying now, a One-series model has a clearer ordering route on XREAL's own store. The box includes a prescription lens frame, and XREAL's listing names JUN GINZA as a partner for it. Tint is handled at the front: Air 2 Pro has three electrochromic dimming levels, so the insert itself can stay clear.
How to order
- Find an XREAL partner that makes Air-series inserts.
- Order with your full prescription and pupil distance.
- Fit the insert behind the display.
- Check your pupil distance is measured; inserts are centered on it.
- If you plan to upgrade within a year, consider buying a One-series pair and its insert instead.
Watch out for
- No published range from XREAL.
- Air inserts won't move to a One-series upgrade.
- US stock is listed inconsistently.
- Partner inserts come from a separate business, so warranty and returns for the lenses sit with that partner.
