XREAL One with prescription lenses
XREAL offers prescription lenses for XREAL One but has not published a range.[1]
XREAL One comes with an empty clip-in prescription lens frame. You fill it by ordering custom inserts from XREAL's store, where you enter sphere, cylinder, axis and pupil distance, and pick 1.6 or 1.67 index, standard or blue-light-blocking. XREAL says the lenses are made by a third-party partner. On the US store they are made in 1-4 business days and delivered in about 10 business days, shipped from China. XREAL doesn't publish a supported range. Frame of Choice, a third-party US insert seller, lists +4.00 to -10.00 sphere and up to 4.00 cylinder for One inserts. One has been replaced by the 1S but is still sold at a discount in places, and both take the same lens frame.
How to order
- Order XREAL One prescription lenses on XREAL's store and enter SPH, CYL, AXIS and IPD.
- Choose 1.6 or 1.67 index and standard or blue-light-blocking.
- Allow time for manufacture and shipping from China.
- Fit the lenses into the included frame and clip it behind the display.
Watch out for
- XREAL says custom lenses can't be returned except for quality issues.
- No official range from XREAL; Frame of Choice's figures apply to its own inserts.
- Air series inserts don't fit One.
- The store offers clear lenses only, in standard or blue-light-blocking versions. For bright light, One relies on its electrochromic front lens, not a tinted insert.
