Gentle Monster Intelligent Eyewear (Samsung / Google, Android XR) is a pair of AI glasses with a camera and open-ear speakers from Samsung (with Google) with Gentle Monster. Gentle Monster Intelligent Eyewear (Samsung / Google, Android XR) has been announced (19 May 2026) but is not on sale yet.
Samsung, Google and Gentle Monster have announced Intelligent Eyewear, among the first Android XR glasses. It's announced, not on sale. These are audio glasses: a camera, open-ear speakers and microphones, Gemini by voice, and no display. Samsung has confirmed a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip, up to 9 hours per charge and a case holding up to seven more full charges. Google lists live translation, message summaries read aloud, walking directions, photo capture with Nano Banana editing, and app actions with Uber, DoorDash and Mondly. Gentle Monster has shown two designs and says more styles launch this fall. The Korea Herald reported on 2026-10-01 that a Samsung official confirmed a November 2026 launch.
