How to use live translation on Meta glasses

Live translation turns a face-to-face conversation into your language as the other person speaks. On camera-only glasses you hear the translation through the speakers; the other person can read your side in the Meta AI app. On Meta Ray-Ban Display you read it in the lens. Before you start, Meta says to have the glasses connected, the latest firmware and app, and Wi-Fi for languages that need internet. You pick "You speak" and "They speak", then tap Start or ask by voice.

  1. Start live translation (Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, Meta Glasses)
  2. Start live translation on Meta Ray-Ban Display

Yes, for languages with a downloadable pack. Meta says offline use needs the pack saved to your device first, and Ray-Ban Meta Audio doesn't support offline packs. See offline translation.
