What warranty do Meta glasses come with?

Ray-Ban Meta glasses have a one-year limited warranty from the purchase date, or two years if bought in the EU or EFTA, according to Ray-Ban's FAQ. Oakley Meta and Meta Ray-Ban Display terms are one or two years depending on the country of purchase.

The length follows where you bought the glasses, not where you live now. Ray-Ban states the EU and EFTA exception outright. Oakley and the Meta Ray-Ban Display FAQ use broader wording, "one or two years from purchase, based on the country of purchase," without listing countries. For Meta Glasses (Adventurer, Fury and the other Meta-branded frames), we have not found warranty terms on a page we could read, so check the paperwork in the box or the store you bought from.

Before you file a claim, work through the official troubleshooting, because support will ask. For glasses that will not charge or turn on, Ray-Ban says to dock them in a charged case for an hour, check the charging pins are clean, try another cable and adapter, and try a force restart. Only after that does it point you to a warranty claim or replacement.

Have three things ready: proof of purchase with the date, the model name, and a short note of what you tried. Meta's help center has a page titled "How to replace your AI glasses" that starts the process. If you bought from an optician or another retailer, ask them first, since they handled the sale.

Warranty is not loss cover. Ray-Ban says Ray-Ban Meta glasses have no "Find my glasses" feature, so a lost pair is a matter for your retailer or insurer. See lost glasses. If you buy Meta Ray-Ban Display, the Neural Band is part of the same purchase, and press reports put a replacement band at $199, so keep its box and receipt with the glasses'.

Is the warranty longer in Europe?

Yes for Ray-Ban Meta: Ray-Ban says purchases made within the EU or EFTA get two years instead of one. Oakley and Meta Ray-Ban Display say one or two years based on the country of purchase.

What should I try before claiming?

Charge the glasses in the case for an hour, clean the charging contacts, swap the cable and adapter, then force restart. If they still fail, Ray-Ban's FAQ says to start a warranty claim.
