How long does the battery last on Meta glasses?
Meta's own figures range from up to 4 hours of moderate use on Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 to up to 12 hours on the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio. Current camera models are rated 8 to 9 hours, plus 36 to 50 hours from the case.
Ray-Ban models. Gen 3: up to 9 hours (Meta newsroom), with up to 50 more hours from the case (Ray-Ban US). Gen 2: up to 8 hours of typical use and a case worth 48 more hours (Meta), or up to 5 hours of continuous audio streaming (Ray-Ban FAQ). Optics Gen 2: up to 8 hours (Ray-Ban US). Gen 1: up to 4 hours of moderate use or 3 hours of continuous audio (Ray-Ban FAQ).
Oakley models. HSTN: up to 8 hours of typical use, 19 hours on standby, and 48 hours from the case (Meta newsroom), or 5 hours of continuous audio (Oakley FAQ). Vanguard: up to 9 hours, or 6 hours of continuous music, with 36 hours from the case (Meta newsroom).
Everything else. Meta Glasses: "over 8 hours" and a case adding up to 40 hours (Meta newsroom). Ray-Ban Meta Audio: up to 12 hours plus 48 from the case (Meta newsroom). Meta Ray-Ban Display: up to 6 hours of mixed use and 30 hours in total with its folding case; the Neural Band is rated up to 18 hours (Meta newsroom).
These are maker figures for a usage mix, not guarantees. Video, 3K capture and Live AI use more power than music or calls, and cold hurts: Meta says charging pauses below 32°F (0°C). Battery saver can add up to 88%, about 7.9 hours, if switched on at full charge. Practical steps are in making the battery last longer, and the background is in battery life explained.

How long does a full charge take?
Ray-Ban's FAQ says about 75 minutes to 100% in the case. Meta says Gen 2 reaches 50% in 20 minutes, and the same figure is published for Oakley Meta HSTN and Vanguard.
How do I check the battery level?
Ask "Hey Meta, what is my battery level?" or open the glasses in the Meta AI app, which shows charge while they are paired. With the glasses docked, the case light also shows whether they are charging or full.
