Rokid Glasses vs Meta Ray-Ban Display

Both put a display and a 12MP camera in an everyday-looking frame, and both use a Qualcomm AR1 chip. The differences are how the picture is drawn and how you control it. Rokid Glasses use green monochrome micro-LED waveguides in both lenses, weigh 48 g and are rated at 10 hours of mixed use. Meta Ray-Ban Display uses one full-color screen in the right lens, weighs 69 g and is controlled with the bundled Neural Band. Rokid's regular price is $599; Display is $799.

Meta Ray-Ban Display

Short answer

Display is the safer purchase: it is sold through Meta and Ray-Ban in six countries, ties into WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, calls and maps, and Meta documents its features country by country. Rokid's case is lighter weight, text in both eyes and a longer rated battery. But its product page returned a 404 in early October 2026 and the glasses were missing from Rokid's global store, so confirm you can buy and get support before choosing it.

Choose Rokid Glasses if

Choose Rokid Glasses if weight and battery matter most: 48 g, IPX4, a rated 10 hours of mixed use and a binocular display at 480x398 per eye, 23 degrees and 1,500 nits. A prescription frame accessory costs $39 on Rokid's store, though no lens range is published.

Choose Meta Ray-Ban Display if

Choose Meta Ray-Ban Display if you want color, a mature app and gesture control. The Neural Band handles scrolling, selecting and handwriting, and Meta lists captions, translation, messages, viewfinder and navigation for it. Rx runs from -4.00 to +4.00, single vision, bonded during manufacturing.
