Glasses updates on Meta's models download over Wi-Fi through the Meta AI app, and they need a minimum charge that Meta says depends on temperature. That is why an update can refuse to start on a cold morning even with a decent battery reading. The app warns when more charge is needed. Keep the phone close with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, since the transfer relies on both. A restart of the glasses and the app clears most stuck progress bars.

- Check for updates in the Meta AI app: Settings > Your glasses > Glasses update.
- Charge the glasses: updates need a minimum charge that depends on temperature, and the app warns if more charge is needed.
- Keep the phone nearby with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on (updates use Wi-Fi).
- Restart the glasses and the app; on Android force-stop the app if errors repeat.
