Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) is a pair of AI glasses with a camera and open-ear speakers from Meta with Ray-Ban. It starts at $379 in the United States (starting price at launch). Meta sells or supports it in 29 countries. Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) went on sale in September 2025.

Gen 2 was Meta's main camera glasses for a year, and Ray-Ban still lists it beside Gen 3. Its pitch at launch was roughly double the battery of Gen 1, eight hours of typical use, plus 3K video and extra modes: 1080p at 60fps and 720p at 120fps for slow motion. There is no display. You use voice, a touchpad and a capture button, and Meta AI answers in your ear. Gen 2 is the reference model for many newer features: Meta's Early Access articles name it for Autocapture and conversation focus. It suits buyers who find it discounted or who want the widest frame-style choice in Wayfarer, Skyler and Headliner.

Buyers who want proven camera glasses at a lower price than Gen 3, and anyone who wants Early Access features that Meta names Gen 2 for.

Look elsewhere if
