Oakley Meta HSTN
Oakley Meta HSTN is a pair of AI glasses with a camera and open-ear speakers from Meta with Oakley. It starts at $399 in the United States (collection starting price). Meta sells or supports it in 25 countries. Oakley Meta HSTN went on sale in July 2025.
HSTN is Oakley's everyday Meta frame: a classic front-facing shape with Oakley styling, not a wraparound sport shield. The specs sit close to Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2: a 12 MP camera with 3K video, two open-ear speakers, a five-mic array and IPX4 splash resistance. Meta quotes eight hours of typical use, 19 hours on standby and up to 48 more hours from the case. Oakley also lists Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The reason to pick HSTN over a Ray-Ban is the look, not a different feature set. It is a light-sport and daily frame for people who like Oakley. Weighing it against the sport model? See HSTN vs Vanguard.
Good fit
People who want Meta camera glasses in an Oakley shape for daily wear, casual training and travel.
Look elsewhere if
Skip it for hard training in rain or dust; Oakley Meta Vanguard is rated IP67 and pairs with Garmin. Prefer Ray-Ban looks? See Gen 2 vs HSTN.

Limitations to know before you buy
- IPX4 covers splashes and sweat, not submersion or heavy rain.
- Continuous audio playback is quoted at five hours, per Oakley's FAQ.
- Meta has not published an official weight for HSTN, so you cannot compare comfort with Ray-Ban models on paper.
- There is one frame shape, HSTN, so you cannot pick a different silhouette within the model.
- Oakley's FAQ country list is out of date. Use Meta's supported-countries page, which the table above follows.
- The 2025 launch was staged: a Limited Edition came first and the full collection followed later that summer.
