6 models are confirmed on sale in Norway, and Meta supports 2 more models there through its brand-level country list.
Norway is outside the EU, yet Meta's May 2025 release note listed it among the "EU countries" where Ray-Ban Meta is sold, and it gets the same feature set as its Nordic neighbors. Language is where it falls behind. Norwegian is on neither Meta's 13 core languages nor its 18 partner languages, and it is not in the live-translation list, so the assistant runs in English and the glasses cannot translate Norwegian speech. Even Realities G2 is the exception: Even lists Norwegian for its Translate and Teleprompt features. Synsam announced Ray-Ban Meta at selected Norwegian stores in July 2025. Buying notes
- Norway's complaint period depends on how long a product is meant to last: two years for clothes and shoes, five years for items such as mobile phones. Ask the seller which period it applies to smart glasses.
- Ray-Ban's warranty runs two years for purchases in the EU or EFTA, and Norway is an EFTA country.
- Ray-Ban's Norwegian FAQ says prescription lenses fitted by your own optician keep the manufacturer warranty only if the optician is a certified retailer.
